Ensō Village is a first of it’s kind, life plan community for adults 60+ in Healdsburg, California. Developed as a collaborative effort between  Kendal Corporation and the San Francisco Zen Center, the community of Ensō Village places emphasis on mindful aging, the joys of nature, contemplative care, and environmental stewardship.

Ensō Village approached TBD* during it’s early phases of construction with the idea of creating a series of maps that encourage mindful movement. We approached this request by creating a series of maps that track and encourage movement based on activity level and lifestyle. At the heart of these maps is a core visual identity that travels with residents as their needs and accommodations change over time.
